Flash drive question

I know you can use the phone as a flash drive, but is it possible to use it as one to boot an os to a computer?

I tried it with linux to install on a pc but it wouldn't boot from my phone. Is it possible?

It's worth a shot. Try pendrivelinux and you should be able to find the correct way to install linux to a USB drive.

My only concern is the speed, to me the USB on the phone is slower then normal USB2.0 speeds. It could also be the memory card as well.
