Just got the galaxy sIII (sgh-i747) version 4.1.1 and didnt find it on the supported devices list for flash player. I just want to make sure that downloading it won't kill my phone.

If you mean Adobe, they stated there would be no more support for anything above 4.0

I could swear there used to be a sticky but here's what you need
Go here and scroll down to the Flash Player for Android 4.0 Archives
Archived Flash Player versions

I have been using 11.1.115.34 for 8 months now without any performance issues. The stock Android 4.1.1 internet browser is probably the most trouble-free way to go. Chrome will not load flash content.

Once you have the Flash apk installed, run the stock browser and test a site with flash content. If you want a suggestion, try this site
monoface

It is full page flash and somewhat entertaining. (you may have to refresh the browser page if it seems to stall or not load the flash content).

@ golfdriver97: I saw that, but browsing here I've found several people saying that they have downloaded it with no problems. I am just trying to understand the reason for the inconsistencies.
@ repligation: what device are you using? What you have may not be the same as whay I'm using, which could cause issues.
