Flash stock recovery to stock VC rom

I am having a bit of trouble trying to flash the stock recovery to a stock nandroid of VC rom. I restored my stock VC (rooted, SU uninstalled) and have tried all the traditional recovery flashing methods. I get various errors when doing so. I have to take my phone into the sprint store for a little work, the LCD shows Gradient lines pretty bad. I hope swapping the LCD does the trick as this phone OC's to 864 stable I dont run 864 unless doing some sort of benchmark, to tell the truth after 844 I dont see a huge increase to 864. Anyway, is it just early and I am missing something right before my eyes on how to flash this. I really dont want to use the LG tools to restore as I am already on VC with VC baseband and all.

error says....header is the same, not flashing recovery

LG Updater cab method does not overwrite recovery.
You are fine, "header is the same" means you are trying to flash the same exact image that you already have.

In other words, whatever you are trying to flash is already flashed.

That sounds logical, but when "adb reboot recovery" or even holding method I boot into your clockwork recovery. Maybe I need to remove or rename LG recovery first.

UPDATE....OMG! I was flashing recovery.img I pulled from my nandroid backup of stock VC rom. Well that recovery.img IS your clockwork recovery!!! LMFAO, see it is to early
