flashed evo to boost but can i still load custom roms?

ok im buying a evo 4g flashed to boost mobile unlimited i know it works ive seen it in my hands any way the question i wanted to ask is there going to be a problem when i try to load say CyanogenMod 6.1 on the device the gsm and every thing isn't stored in the rom memory right or it wouldn't have any effect on my service right ... thank you in advance im kinda new here you guys are great just remember every one is a noob at some point in there life whether its flashing roms or riding a bike lol

I believe you need to Redo the Setting for it to work on Metro PCS and or Boost

*For the Record I've never seen it working on Boost only Metro*

Usually those changes are made in the raidos nv ram and shouldn't affect what rom you use. Just make a nandroid as a backup just to be safe.

thanks for your replies @d3xn20 ive seen it work and its legit if you know some one who can do it . 50 bucks a month and unlimited 3g its worth it im going to get a view sonic gtab too at tax time im stoked
