I am would like to flash from the currently installed Cognition 4.4 to Andromeda 3
As the Cognition ROM has the voodoo lag fix applied will this work from Clockwork? OR should I do an Odin back to 2.1 then re-root, then flash from clockwork to Andromeda ?

If it is able to be directly flashed from Cognition to Adromeda, I have heard that disabling the lag fix is a needed or it is just not mentioned.. Which is it?

If I do disable to lagfix via voodoo-lagfix folder or whatever, will it force the URSA Minor kernel into a non lag fix mode also?

Just trying to get some straight answers.

Thanks

It's always a good idea to disable voodoo if you switch kernels. Flashing back to stock might not be needed. Easiest solution is to try it, and if it doesn't work, flash to stock.

I'm not sure what lagfix Ursa Minor uses, but it should re-enable it when you install it.

I would suggest doing an Odin 2.1. It is always best to flash back to stock than to flash over another ROM.

I just disabled the lagfix and installed the ROM from the sdcard. It worked like a champ.

Lagfix wasn't enabled by default in the URSA minor kernel but the lagfix control application fixed that.

quite easy and fast. Always nice to have Odin for the occaional brick though.
