Flashing Roaming Indicator

I just recently returned from a trip across the pond. I now have a flashing triangle...I am assuming it is the roaming indicator...on my status bar. How do I turn that off? It is very annoying. I have an android 4 LTE.

Have you tried updating your PRL under Settings/About Phone?


As for the notification I'm not sure if you can disable that or not..
