Hi guys, i have google 2 step authentication set up and every time i flash a rom, i have to restup the whole thing with assigning specific paswords to the applications and doing new account codes, etc, etc

is there a way around this so that i dont have to redo this every time i get a new rom on the phone?
i dont see a way to reinitialize the authenticator, i only see redoing the entire setup.

thanks

I use 2 step authentication, too, and have had similar issues. One method I've used is to keep the device specific code on me so I can sign into the google services when I am setting up a ROM. This doesn't help the authenticator program itself, but if you wipe after you have used the program to enter passcodes into every computer you use, you have a month before you have to worry about it again.

The other method I am trying now is to use DualRomX2 to set up a "permanent" stable ROM that has all the data that I want to keep (app data, bookmarks, etc) that I have the Authenticator program on. That way, I can play around with a phone ROM as I am interested, but I can easily return to my stable ROM for all my daily needs.

If you find a better way to do this, let me know!
