Flashing Screen on Galaxy S5

Recently I turned my phone down on the lowest brightness setting, and it started to flash a yellowish color. I found that as long as I don't have it on that setting I'm fine. But now whenever I go to turn on my screen (despite the brightness level) it flashes green and sometimes won't turn on and it can take several minutes for me to turn it on. I have looked up solutions and found some, but they often don't work. Does anyone else have this problem? And if so, could you help?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone rooted or unrooted? Do you have any 3rd party screen dimming apps installed?

For some reason, yesterday it stopped doing the flash thing. It did this before but it came back a day or later, so I'm thinking it'll come back. Anyway, when it still did it, I went into safe mode and it didn't stop. So it's not a problem with any of my 3rd party apps.

That makes me think it's a hardware issue. A connection might be loose, or something might be about to fail. Make sure all of your data is backed up or synced, and consider bringing it to a repair shop.
