Flashlight app

what is the most basic flashlight app for using the camera flash as a light? there's about 90573024342 of them in the playstore. prob can't go wrong but i just want something super simple...1 touch style.

If you go to the Samsung apps, there is a flashlight widget under the utilities. It will show up as a widget on your fone. Its a one touch.

i use Torch. it has a strobe which is cool but i refuse to install the latest version as it has extra permissions so dont get it.
take your choice mate, your flash only has one brightness. just read reviews till u find one with no push ads and dont choose one with stupid screen effects, daft waste of resources

tip. if you have a clock widget on home screen, set it to turn torch on when tapped... handy at this time of year lol

p.s, better to to put an actual app on homescreen instead of widget then u can change the icon to whatever u want

The reason is because it's an app and not a widget, so I can stick it in a folder. Also, it turns on by default. I hate having to open the app then hit a button to turn on. Most of the flashlight apps have a widget that's a one tap to turn on, but again, you can't put widgets in folders.

i use brightest flashlight... its simple but lights up a pretty big area

thanks mate il get it now ...got it. i added the app to my my screen instead of widget so i can choose strobe if i want plus change the icon to match its neighbours. might add an invisible shortcut to lockscreen.... it is gettin dark
