Flickering Bar

This afternoon I started having an issue with my screen. On the bottom of the screen I get what looks kind of like a blinking bar. I stopped at a Verizon store on the way home. They said it was a dead pixel. I downloaded two pixel fix apps and that does not seem to have fixed the issue. I'm not sure if it is a dead pixel since it seems more like a row of dead pixels. However, it goes away for awhile and then reappears. Of course it seems to be fine why I type this. Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

Are you running launcherpro? It has a bar on the bottom that flashes as you move screens and then turns off.
