flipboard app

Flipboard on phones has the smart magazines feature.. however on phones it's still using the legacy layout although the app is updated to the latest version.
1. has the tablet version not been updated with UI?
2. is there hack around this limitation?

Flipboard sucks every day more. Yeah, the tablet app is completely different than the phone app, and the Windows app, and they can't figure out web apps yet either. No way around it other than using a different news aggregator or use (if you can stomach it) Flipboard's web version.

Best thing to do is keep nagging Flipboard with reports and see if they finally fix this
