I need to make folders in my inbox. Does someone know whether this can be done, and how?

(I'm an inbox organizer freak.)

Have you set them up on the server already? They should sync.

Yes, I have folders on the server, and I can access them by going to the server url, but I prefer using my Flyer inbox---but I can't find a way to create new inbox folders on my Flyer.

Yeah, I can't either. It would appear that creating new folders has to be done on the server, but they should then sync to your Flyer's inbox and be usable. Not even the Gmail app allows me to create folders.

This is how I should state my real issue here:

Bottom line, I want my email to remain on my Flyer after I delete it from the server. This can't happen, can it? I suppose that's why I can't create new folders within my Flyer's inbox.

I don't understand why the email doesn't "receive" while the Flyer is napping. Does anyone else's Flyer do this?

My Inspire sounds the email notification even when it's sleeping but my Flyer does not---and then when I "open" the Flyer email inbox, a minute or two is required for the new email to enter the inbox. (These emails have been in my Inspire inbox since before they show up on the email server(!), so I don't understand why the Flyer requires so long to receive 'em.)

My Inspire and Flyer are using the same wifi connection . . .

Rather than deleting emails from the server, why don't you create a folder called "Flyer" and move everything you want to have on the tablet in there. Then just sync that folder in the Flyer's email app.

As for your second problem, go to Settings>Accounts & sync>Mail and change the update schedule.

Thanks for suggestions, gebinsk.

Only the inbox contents on the email server go into my Flyer inbox. (A server "Flyer" folder wouldn't transfer to the Flyer inbox.)

My Flyer is set to send/receive every 15 minutes (same as my Inspire's setting).

Is sleep mode enabled? If so, double-check the settings. Are you using any market apps that claim to improve battery life?
