It is said that only the Sprint Version of the Galaxy Note 3 has an FM Radio with an app named Next Radio.

I request the experts to throw some light on whether this app can tune into any FM Radio Frequency Worldwide or is only confined to Sprint supported stations?

Thank you

I disabled it because I use Tune In Radio. That will let you browse anywhere you want to. I love it.

Thank you for the reply. Kindly let me know if the Phone uses Internet to stream the Radio or they have included the hardware (which is absent in all other versions except sprint) to use the terrestrial radio. Thank you

Next radio is ota. In other words there is an fm tuner in your sprint phone. I just started using it and it works great. It will pick up any fm radio station within broadcast range. You can enter your zip code and the program will download the station logos. I believe it will also show you what songs are playing if the station supports it. (Downloaded from the Internet). You have to use your headphones for the antenna but you can choose to have it play through the speaker.

I use Next Radio and it is an FM transmitter so works with the FM stations in your area. You just need to have your ear buds plugged in for it to work as they act as an antenna works great
