FM tuner: Work for anyone?

And do you guys have any problems with static? Do your stations come in clear? How about indoors? Do you have to hold the "antenna" stretched out?? lol

I tryed 2 stations this morning. The first one got a little static, but so does the 30 yo clock radio sitting on my desk. The second one was perfect. I am using headphones that came with my BB curve. It is a little button on it with a mic...I wonder if it works the same...hmmm..

Mine works like a gem. It fades in and out a little depending on positioning but it seems to mostly be HQ sound or not much at all in those instances rather than listening to constant static in the background nonstop.

Sorry, forgot to update you guys on this. It works! It turns out you have to use headphones that are designed for a cell phone and have the fourth connection (microphone). I had tried it with two different head phones, but neither of them had the fourth line. The fourth connection is what's used for the antenna. So if it doesn't have that, it's like trying to run the fm tuner without an antenna.

Oh, and guess who figured it out.. My local Verizon customer service rep!! No joke. He was awesome. Figured out the problem, and then even gave me an earbud set that worked with it! He also gave me an extra USB to microUSB connector that I could use at work for charging my phone, so I don't have to carry the included charge cable with me. Awesome guy, and two thumbs up for great service! :)

That is good service. For what it's worth, mine works with a pair of old earphones that were bought for an old Ipod.
