Fold 2 form factor may be different?

You're going to take your Fold 2 Kayaking and mountain biking?

Yes. Obviously will take reasonable precautions as anyone would. But I don’t see the point of letting the phone dictate my lifestyle. So it’s going to be my daily driver and go wherever I go.

No, I’m not made of money and yes, I will have insurance. So we’ll see how it goes. Maybe I’ll regret it but hope I won’t.

I can be done. A zio-lock bag should keep water, dust, and pebbles out of the phone if you don't plan to keep it in a backpack, etc.

I have one of those floating waterproof pouches that I use when kayaking. It still allows me to use the touch screen so that should work well with the Fold front display.

I also use microfiber eyeglass pouch when carrying my device in pockets, work bag, etc. All of my phones going back to the iPhone 6 and Note 5 have them. Keeps lint and dust out and also serves as a screen cleaner in a pinch.
