folder opening question

So I'm coming from the note 2. I had the n4 but it was a bad phone so I replaced it with a different n4 and I love it. However, there is one thing that is bothering me and I just figured out what it is. On the n2, if I opened a folder it would open downward allowing for an easier access to the apps. On the n4 they open upward making access harder.

Is there anyway to change this? (I love the stock tw on this phone so I don't want to deal with other launchers.

How the launcher works is built into the launcher, so unless you can decompile the launcher and rewrite it, you can't change how it works unless there's an option in Settings for the launcher (and there is no "open downward" option in TW).
