folders inside "my gallery"

Is there a way to create separate folders inside My Gallery?

I have 60+ pages of technical patterns I use at work, of which I carry around a book to refer to.
I would like to take pictures of them and store them on the maxx, in my gallery. But I need to separate them into atleast 3 different groups.
I'd like to make the different folders, with labels for each of my patterns.
These folders could even be stored on a screen.

You can create a folder on your SD card, then change the default view in My Gallery from Timeline to Folder view.

Sounds simple, to anyone but me.
I need simple step by step instructions for something like that.
