I'm using Samsung's my files app to manage my files. Strangley, many folders don't appear. If I search for the folder it is there and I can work with it, but I have to know it is there.
I looked through setting to see if I was somehow limiting visible folders, but could not see any problem..
The folders, for example my local Kindle folder are not hidden folders.
Anyone else having this problem?

Folder's not visible in My Files

Folders that are not hidden, like my local kindle folder, are not visible in Samsung's "My Files" app. The standard folders like documents, pictures, download are visible. I can search for folders I know are there, and then open them, but I have know they exist.
I couldn't find any solutions under setting - am I missing something?

Re: Folder's not visible in My Files

When browsing in My Files, make sure that the drop down menu atop the folder/file list (on the left side) says ALL and not 'Essentials' (which is the default).

SpookDroid - that was it. I had it on essential!
Thanks so much. I've used other file managers but really wanted the default app to work.
