Font change Pixel 3 XL - Can't get rid of white font outlined with black line!

I don't know how it happened but the fonts on some of my title screens or words that look like should be bold are a white font surrounded by a black line. On a white background this is very difficult to read. I've tried every and I can't figure out how to get rid of this font. Again I'm on a Pixel 3 XL and I'm running Android version 12.

Setup --> Display --> Font size doesn't let me change the font.

Accessibility --> Caption Preferences --> Caption size and style doesn't seem to do anything either.

That sounds like High Contrast text. Do a search in the system settings for High Contrast, and turn it off.

B. Diddy, thanks a lot for your help, that was it! I can't believe how many ways there are to mess with the fonts on this phone!

This also reinforce that it's a great idea to ask the question on a forum before dicking around with your phone for a week. Although I did learn a few things in my efforts.
