For all you iPhone haters out there (like me).....

Knowing Apple they would bar all phone sales but there own. Give sprint a new name (add I) and only offer service through the Apple store lol.

That makes no sense. Why would Apple, a hardware/software company, buy Sprint, a cell phone service company?

And what does any of that have to do with owning an Evo? What if one owned an Evo not on Sprint? What if the Evo was released on a different network? The phone is not tied to the carrier and therefore why would that matter?

Seems like a juvenile topic.

Yes I would still have an Evo. Love the android platform. If I wanted an iPhone I would of bought my coworkers iPhone for $200. Now he brags about how much he loves his Android phone.

I have iPods and use iTunes, but Love my EVO. I don't get all the apple hate, if they have a good product im not going to ignore it cuz of the company.

I understand that this scenario and question is just hypothetical. But it just makes absolutely no sense. Why would Apple even think about buying up a cell phone carrier? Name a single carrier that also manufactures their own hardware.

If I buy you a beer you'll stop with bad analogies

Lmao jk jk jk
I do know wat u mean tho

Wow..i guess you cant ask hypotetical questions anymore with out people knowing that its hypotetical still asking why... ..oh did you drop the "C" in the front of your name?...JK..LOL

It was intentionally bad to be on the same level as the original question. But sure, I never turn down a free beer.

Nothing wrong with asking hypothetical questions. But hypothetical or not, it still needs to make sense. lol. No offense to anyone.

A more reasonable hypothetical question would have been one of the following:

"What if Apple partnered with Sprint and it affected their Android lineup negatively in favor of the iPhone? Would you hold onto your EVO or eventually just jump ship?"

"What if Apple and HTC signed agreements limiting the features on their Android lineup in exchange for some sort of profit sharing? Would you hold onto your EVO or move on to something else?"

While neither of those two things will ever happen, the scenario itself makes real-world sense as opposed to a handset manufacturer purchasing a cellular carrier (which I think the FCC would have a field day with).

I'm down. I would probably eat more Mac N' cheese.
