For gROM 2.2 users... Market 3.2.0 acting funny?

Okay so with no delay I and I'm sure a lot of you downloaded gROM 2.2. Well if you've tried to buy anything on the new market 3.2.0 then I'm sure you ran into the ERROR screen that pops up without fail. Does anybody know a way around this? Is this just a bug that will be worked out in a while? I've attempted downloading market 3.1.5 and 3.1.3 and using a root uninstaller to replace the application but it didn't work......
I need serious help here.


Does anyone know one or more of the following?
1 You've had this problem also
2 You know how to downgrade market
3 You can show me how

I've only bought one app from the Market since 2.2. I had this error also. It has been a while, so I do not remember the exact fix. My usual first try is to go to Applications in Settings. Then select Clear Data for the app.

The other issue I was having with this app was the developer was from outside the US. The bank I have my VISA with uses some fraud protection that denies purchases to certain countries. The developer was in one of those countries. I talked to my bank, and they approved the purchase. This may have caused the issue, but I am not sure. If the developer is from overseas, it may be an issue with your credit card being approved.

It was a lot of work to buy a 0.99 cent app.

Yes, Market 3.2.0 = Fail. Easiest work around... Go to market.android.com, sign in with your google account, buy app. It will download to your phone automagically!

Im gonna pull 3.2.0 in the next build. Its not a cool app! lol

Now see I've tried that very thing but it doesn't show "Bill My Sprint Account" As a viable payment method..... whats the deal here?

I had the same problem with the market after i flashed gRom. I cleared app data, wiped dalvik, blah blah. The thing that worked for me was a clean reflash. I made sure to wipe/reset everything 3 times and the flashed grom, after that everything works perfect. I also had a issues with google talk that was fixed also when i did this.

I am having this problem too. I tried a factory reset but it did not help.

I tried to buy the app I want from market.android.com but my Optimus S does not show up in my list of devices.

That's what worked for me, it also fixed a problem I had with GoogleTalk. I have been using the rom for about 2 weeks now and the market still works fine
