For those having lag on samsung's stock UI

Found this article this morning can't wait for it ! Now i don't have much lag/stutter issues but it's still nice to see samsung knowing there's it lag on their UI and trying to fix it. Anyone having lags on theirs ? Share your experiences

It's not toned down in any way shape or form. Bloated as ever if you look at the code. It's just been given a new coat of paint.

I obviously didn't look at the code. I'm speaking in terms of how it feels. I've had the S4, S5, S6, S7 Edge and now the S8+ and in my experience, it seems to get less laggy with every new model. They're obviously doing something right.

I keep asking 'what's this lag people keep talking about'? So I looked up a video:

Well, thankfully, my phone has never done anything like that. Sometimes, though I'll be in an app and then press the home button and there is about 1/4 second delay like it had to wake up or something, but really that's not a big deal and it'll happen once. I can go back and forth between the app and the home screen instantly after that and even switch apps. It's like it was in a standby mode at first. That's the only time I think I've experienced any kind of "lag" and to me it's really not lag.

A slow microsd card will do that like in the video yeah, although it's improved alot after a previous patch.
In general my device isn't slow. But yes, it could be smoother. Like with iphones, which are very smooth.

- Swipe down in your home screen to go to apps
- Tap on the search bar

Is there still a lag there? Like it takes few seconds to bring up the keyboard and the search suggestions?

I have an AT&T S8+. The Play Store links take me to a page that says my device is not compatible. When I go to the Galaxy App store and search "Touchwiz Home", "Touchwiz", or "Home" I do not get results that include the launcher.

I wonder if the lag issues are American...ie due to Snapdragon processor? I ask this because I have a UK model and it had exinos or whatever it is called processor and no lag at all.

Minimal lag, less than a second.
