For those that switched from iPhone 5S (RE: Notifications)

I'm sure some people have said this above, but if you're trying to make your Android replicate what your iPhone did, you're going to have a hard time liking Android...

Check out when that comment you're responding to was originally posted. When he posted that, you couldn't reply via voice. That ability has come in an update to Assist in the last few weeks. Now you can, but when he posted that, you couldn't.

I've been using this phone since the first week it came out..

It's nice to read that someone understands the awesomeness of the notifications on iOS! Like you, I've had all the iPhones except iPhone 5s. I'm currently on a Nexus 5, which I found that I like better than the Moto X, but that's another thread. I always found it hard to go to android from an iPhone. One reason was how iPhone shows you the notification, bam, right there on the screen where you can actually read most of it and not even have to touch the screen. I always have twitter notifications coming in while I'm at work. I have my phone propped up in front of me. When a notification comes in, I can read it without having to touch it, which is awesome. It confounds me as to why android doesn't even light up the screen an all when you get a text or any notification!

You mean like the widgets on the android? Like having all of that information on the screen without having to launch an app? Just prop up your phone in front of you and enjoy. What a concept!

I hear you. But you're still misunderstanding. Until the recent update to Assist, you had to interact with the screen to send a reply (you had to actually tap "send message"). But obviously now you never have to touch the phone. I use this in the car all the time and it works flawlessly. I love this little phone. :thumbup:
