You guys are not the last one to get it. Believe it or not I been waiting for this phone since the release of the Note 2 when the 32 gig did not make it into the U.S. I am a T-mobile customer so I could have gotten the phone on the 2nd but I'm still waiting for a few things. I want to see what back cover, case, (pink Note 3, maybe), and special deals from other retailer because I hate dealing with T-mobile ignorant staffs.

For those with Verizon, I'm still with you all.

I'm waiting to hear the common complaints, solutions, and the differences between carriers. Verizon's version of the Note II was poorly reconstructed and the cheap boxing at&t is using for the Note 3 is making me wonder where else they're trying to cut corners. Cheap box and no headphones? Makes me wonder.

While I might buy ahead of my plan, I'm mostly waiting on that first round of patches from Samsung.

Does the box really make a difference as long as the phone works?

VZ can wrap my N3 in aluminum foil for all I care. I agree with the no headphones issues as I don't see how that affects the price point in any way.

Now when you say "poorly reconstructed" What do you mean? Hardware wise then phone is the same across the US carriers. Other than a couple of difference in the OS, they wasn't anything else.

I'll take my N3 in a cracker jack box, if I could have it today

Meaning the overdone branding and the taking away of simple but meaningful features. Verizon is the most egotistical of carriers in my opinion. You can just google Verizon Note II versus other carriers to see all that they took away. And good for you! I don't care much about the boxing either but it just makes me feel weary seeing them be so careless about the presentation of a high-end product. At&t isn't my carrier yet though so maybe everyone including the Iphone gets those boxes?

you can put my phone in 3 feet of elephant **** and I would still dig through to get it :)

I get it, but I guess I'm so easy to please that most of those things don't bother me. But if you're going to pay for a device it might as well be how you want it and not how THEY want it, right?
