For those who hate TouchWiz

I stumbled upon this free app in the market called HeLauncher. Its just an app that runs over touchwiz, and what it does, is like most normal launchers, changes your UI. And its pretty sweet because it has a bunch of interfaces built in you can change instantly. It has vanilla froyo, gingerbread, htc sense, htc espresso, motoblur, and philblur/ninja. I think its pretty sweet, runs smooth and fast. I know alot of you use ADW Launcher or Launcherpro and use there own custom icons and stuff, but I know some of you may want official launchers, and this has them all. Pretty sweet.

Is there a way to change the task bar to look like AOSP, just the standard look not the gray color?

If I am not mistaken...and apologies if i am because it has been a long time since i had an AOSP phone to use.... ADW Launcher Ex does give you the standard look I believe you are looking for. At least the closest thing I have found yet beyond rooting and using an AOSP rom. Yes Ex is a few dollars in the market place, but IMO it was well worth it. Hope it helps
