For those with Replacement phones

Did getting a replacement phone fix the Cell standby issue or does it still persist?
Just wondering , so I'll know if it's worth the headache or not.

Okay lol, I'll just sit with this phone and assume they're working on fixing the bug.
Instead of exchanging the phone only to receive a defected one. Especially one with a rattling home button.
Because I'm getting around 3-5 hours SOT (With wifi due to the bug) and it lasts me all day, so I'll just hold onto it and call up Verizon if I find it doing worse.
 
I'm hoping it's a software issue and not due to the absence of a 2nd antenna which Verizon depended on with previous phones.
 
How much battery is everyone seeing cell standby using? Mine is listed 2nd under android system for battery usage. It currently says 18% for cell stand by and 34%for android system

More often than not, huge...around 40% Cell Standby by the end of the day for me.

What carrier is everyone on? Maybe that is part of the issue. Mine is never been anywhere near that high. I checked my gf's s6 and her's was only 6%. We are both on verizon.

Charging your phone to 100 and only using Mobile Data ( No Wifi) You could get 16- 17 hours using your phone.
Discharge speed is at 1% per 10-11 minutes (Depending on use)
Black wall paper / low brightness

You have a different phone than everyone else if you can get 10 or 11 minutes every 1%.
That would be 16 hours screen on time.
Even if you got 5 mintes per 1% that would be 8.3 hours screen on time wich I haven't seen anyone post that high yet. Close but not higher than 8.3 hours.
The average person is lucky to get between 3 to 4 minutes per 1 %.
Wich is around 5 or 6 hours screen on time. And more are on the lower end of that.

So if your phone can get 10 or 11 minutes per 1% you have the best galaxy phone ever maid and I wouldn't get rid of it for nothing.

T-Mobile for me. But I've seen the same complaints with AT&T and Verizon users (though it seems to be less prevalent on Verizon). I'm pretty sure it's a Lollipop issue coupled with carrier settings or we'd be seeing more international complaints as well (though there have been some).
