Forbes names the Nokia 8 its Smartphone of the Year!

Forbes tech writer Ewan Spence just named the Nokia 8 his 'Smartphone of the Year!'

That's some high praise. I definitely love my copper Nokia 8, but I'm not so sure it was the best smartphone of 2017. I currently also have a Note8, and I think that's probably more deserving of the award given how complete it is in every aspect.

I'd say what the Nokia 8 has going for it is fantastic build quality and killer aesthetics at an affordable price for a phone with the year's top chipset.

Thanks Morty2264! It's a fantastic phone for the specs and price. I'm hoping we'll see a more feature-packed flagship from Nokia in 2018 to compete with the likes of S and Note series from Samsung.
