Force 3G

I have poor signal at my house with att. Wondering if I force 3g I will get better signal. Does anyone know if this I possible and if so how.

If your not rooted you cant. BUT if you wanna try adding the APN manually that may work. Its dumb that ATT locks us out of this option.

There is a lot of work with custom roms to make this selectable but right now the only way would be to add the phone apn and have it selected but several have said that it forces back to LTE (or PTA apn) at different times...
