I am done buying anything hardware Google. And outside of search and the like, Google doesn't commit long term to anything. I dumped my entire Google smart home, which included 4 Google devices, after they suddenly software-bricked original homes and failed to compensate me. Google is a mess, and not trustworthy anymore.

same, I don't need new hardware every year but at least a consistent 3-4 year refresh cycle. Google is a bagilonair company, hire some dedicated people to innovate your lineup. honestly what other options are there though.

Former Google employees claim there are management problems. The company has become as much of a revolving door as it's product adoption and abrupt cancellations. Workers are given everything to maximize their work output and stay later. But they soon burn out and leave after having Google on the resume.
