forgot the pin password lg g4 H11

[Android Central Question]

I have an LG G4 I forgot the pin password so I cant unlock the phone to use it.
I bought some software from wondershare “Dr Fone” to hack into the phone by bypassing the pin code (I guess). The computer does not seem to be recognizing the LG. It is a Macintosh running OS El Capitan 10.11.6
I got the phone into download mode/firmware update but thats it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Only factory reset , hope you remember your Google account

Sorry, but the only thing you can do is to do a hardware key factory reset, and then enter the Google account/password associated with the phone (since Factory Reset Protection will be activated). The phone will be wiped, but at least you'll still be able to set it back up and use it.
