Format External Card

How do you format the External SD Card?

Since upgrading to ICS, the external SD card has been pretty much useless, showing me multiple copies of what was on it, none of the accessible.

If you do it with your computer, all you gotta do is find the drive (SD Card) listed, right click it, and scroll down to format. Of course back the card up first if you don't wanna lose what's on it.

Well, I may do that. I don't have a laptop any longer, but could do that at my sons house.

Any other suggestions out there?

You could also format the card from your phone if you don't have a computer. Go to System Settings>Storage>Erase SD card.

Thank you, I hadn't thought of that. I just looked at my Bionic and see that I only have to Unmount the SD card and click on Format.
