I said before, and now that i have my note 7 i hand i can say it again..

The note7 is NOT an s7edge w an s pen lol.

The s7 edge is an awesome phone, but the edge screen to me is far better on the note7.
I like the new grace ui on touchwiz, and while a couple of things are gone, like priority senders in stock messaging, i like a lot better.

I am a note guy, i missed my s pen the last month using an s7 edge.

The aod is a lot better, i like the blue light filter, the new contact layout is nicer and less colorful.

I think if you want an edge phone but dont care about note stuff and s pen, then the s7 edge is the way to go. However if you want a note and want all the edge features too, with a better angled edge screen than the note 7 is worth the upgrade.

The Note 7 is the S7E's mature, refined, educated, Miss Alabama sister.

Gave my S7E to my wife. The GN7 feels better in hand and that's about it for me.
I wont ever use the S-pen. I just wanted black.

If I had a black S7E I would not have gotten the GN7. The Olympic edition buttons were a turn off and I missed out on the Injustice edition.

I'd have to agree with you. It's the same phone with an S-Pen and S-Pen software.
The iris scanner is cool, but it's not like a must have feature (until its freezing cold outside and you want to turn your phone on). Which after you do you still wont be able to use the screen with gloves on and if you use the S-Pen then you could have used that to enter a password or swipe. I'll just go sit over there------------------------------------->

I've had both the S7 edge and the Note7 and the S7 edge seems...useless. The edge screens on the S7 edge more curvier than the Note7, which I didn't like. I prefer the subtlety of the curves on the Note7. I also like how the Note7 is about the same size as the S7 edge, but less bulky and bigger screen.

If both of those phones came out yesterday, and I was looking to buy one, I'd obviously take the Note7 over the S7 edge.

I prefer the Note 7 by far.. But that's because I like the S-Pen. Yes.. I actually regularly use it :).

Note 7 is easier to hold with the less pronounced curves, software is more refined but that will most likely come to the S7 Edge. The AOD is improved for sure, hope it doesn't take more battery life.

I hated the feel of the S7E in the hand(as well as false touches on the edge)
It sat in my drawer until I traded it in for the Note 7. Much better feel and I missed the s pen as well. I turn off all of the edge features, was never a fan of them.
Battery has been comparable so far.
