I'm considering getting the V700 tablet. I'm guessing that the LG G pad 8.3 forum is for the 8.3" tablet?

Technically, no, since the V700 is the G Pad 10.1. This is the closest you'll get, although the hardware might differ significantly, depending on the specific G Pad model you're looking at. Unfortunately, not all devices will have their own subforum. It depends on popularity, traffic, and demand.
