Forum set up...

Is there a way to set up the forum so it is easier to use? Scrolling through forum after forum to get to where I want to go is a pain. One forum I like to go to is nearly at the bottom of the page. It makes coming here not fun. And is there a way to remove the yellow bar saying to join the pixel6 discussion? I have no intention of getting a pixel or needing to go to that forum yet there is the yellow bar insisting I join.

Tapatalk is the way to go to make forums more enjoyable. I even didn’t know how the web interface is.

That is senseless to me, subscribing to a forum. I don't need messages popping up that I am not a part of. All I want is something simple, like the two or three forums I visit be put to the top of the list. Instead I get "GO TO THE GOOGLE PIXEL 6 PAGE NOW!!!!" and a list of popular forums which none of which I visit.

Is this site run by apple? Forcing me to go where they want me to go and not where I want to go? lol

Now your just nitpicking, go to the forum you choose or try the other options as stated above.

I don't think I am nit-picking anything. I just don't think scrolling through 100+ discussions to get to the one I want. I use other forums, not like this one, and when I go to a discussion section on their sites I can go right to it, no scrolling through every other discussion. Better interface is needed on this site.

Forums have a set layout, with all the sub-forums listed in whatever order the site developer think works best. That means one sub-forum gets to be at the top, one at the bottom, and everything else in between. Generally, the various sub-forums are laid out based on popularity. The more popular a section is, the higher it gets on the site. That's the way it's been since forums have existed. I wouldn't expect an admin to change up a website to appease a very small number of users, which means you'll have to use a third party option similar to what was posted above that lets you tailor your viewing experience.

Why don't you open the forum(s) you want to read and bookmark them as a favorite?

You can turn off notifications.

Subscribing to a forum doesn't mean you have to get emails or notifications about them -- you can turn those off (at least on the desktop forum site). Then all you have to do is click the gear icon and then Settings, and you'll see your list favorite forums there.

just bookmark the forums you like to visit. I only access this through the web and only use the new posts link. The only time I do any scrolling is when I need to ask a question.

Thank you for this topic. I just went through and turned off all notifications for the AC forum app. I was getting tired of deleting so many emails.
