Is there a way to forward an MMS pic to Gmail? I know I used to be able to do it on my Pre and can't believe it's not an option with Android. I have been using Handcent recently because I thought it would include this kind of stuff.

I also can't figure out how to save an MMS be viewed later. I'll keep trying on that one.

to save MMS, just click on the picture and the bottom right hand corner is the save option.
It saves to downloads by default.

I havent tried the send to email. I tried to forward and you have to be at the message level and long click to forward.
If you do this, I am sure there will be a share option in there and then you can share to email from there.
I havent tried myself, but seems logical

It doesn't work that way in Handcent...or at least I can't figure it out. It has an option to save to sd card yet when I supposedly save it I can't find the pic anywhere. So, I go into native app, save pic, go to gallery, find pic, choose to forward it to gmail. Not the best workflow compared to my old Pre which was click on picture and select any of the options from forwarding via MMS or forwarding to email etc. One click, done. Not 3 minutes worth of dinking around.

There has to be a better way.....

use Astro and look in the Handcent folder on your SD card, there is a download folder

Tap and hold the mms title above the picture chose forward then type in the email addy or chose from contacts then chose send.

Sms backup is an app that automatically sends all your texts to your gmail account in real time, under its own label. Permanent record of all texts you ever sent or got. It does mms as well.
