Fossil Q Explorist sudden battery drain

I've had my watch since December 2017... Lately my battery has been drain drastically... Before 100% at 6am I'd have 35-40% by 9pm.. now 100% 6am I'm getting 15% alert by 5pm!!! Is it because of the last update? All my notifications are the same as in the past. I think it's too soon for the battery to be going bad?!!
