I heard that FOTAKill can stop the OTA notification appears, but only work for certain phones/carriers.
My phone is the Galaxy SII HD LTE and is with Fido Canada. Anyone knows that FOTAKill will work on my phone/carrier?

Thanks!

Probably the best way to find out is to install the FOTAKill.apk and see if it stops the OTA update notifications. Either its going to work or its not.

Fotakill, requires root because it has to be installed as a system app, but I'm assuming you're rooted already if you're asking about it.

If it doesn't work after trying it, you can try renaming your otacerts.zip in /etc/security to otacerts.bak, that will also prevent the updates. When you do want to update just rename it back to .zip on the end.
