where does it say root voids warranty? the courts ruled it legal....I'd like to see that case. Or do you have a droid?
show me
Only physically modifying the device is tampering
I can "unroot" and they will never know thus I didn't tamper
so when I install linux on my windows laptop I void the warranty? not
Why is it that Droid X does not have a cap on the fps, yet it also sports a hdmi plug?

Clearly, if you break your phone and file a warranty claim that will be covered but if you brick your Evo and you are not running stock you won't get a replacement!
And, if you take your non-stock phone into a Sprint store for any reason and they see it is not stock they won't help you unless you get really lucky.
