I've seen that video and he's from the UK. So I'm pretty sure it's only from the UK that you will get a free case. Now the screen protector is another story. I can see Samsung putting one on for certain carriers.

I bought the Note 9 in australia and it came with a free clear silicone case

At least in the US they never include, it'll hurt the feelings of the carriers since they want to sell overpriced accessories like cases in store. Samsung will gladly bend over back to the US carriers and don't want to hurt them in anyway.

Can confirm that the U.S. unlocked Pearl White S10 128GB direct from Samsung does NOT come with a case. My wife's arrived today, 03/06/2019.

It does have a clear adhesive on the back which needs to be removed. And it comes with a almost invisible plastic on the screen, which I presume to be the included screen protector as there is nothing else to replace it in the box.

The only thing I don't know is what to do about the screen part on top of the camera "O." There appears to be a cutout around the screen film/protector around the "O" and I don't know if I should try to peel that away or not. I have not activated or turned it on yet, so I might figure it out if it takes really bad selfies.
