Free Case?

Did anyone else get a free phone case from sprint? The day after I got my phone there was another package and it was a phone case and I never ordered one. Is this sprints way of apologizing for the delay or something or did I just get lucky?

There are a few other threads on this. The case is for all Sprint pre order customers. Most got a blue HTC one, some got a greyish Body Glove. I got the blue but traded it at a retail store for credit and bought the car dock. Their way of saying sorry for the delay.
