Free gift card for using Samsung Pay....can't be used with Samsung Pay?!

After looking like a fool for about 1 minute trying to tap and pay with my $30 gift card at Whole Foods, I decided to give up and just use my regular credit card that I have with Samsung Pay.

After playing around with the app a little more, I finally noticed the "Tap to Show Barcode" button right under the card. D'oh! Kind of counter-intuitive that my gift card couldn't have been used utilizing NFC/MST since that's the platform that the promo was given under. But all is well and I have my groceries...

Same with the BB gift card. When you try and pay with fingerprint a barcode appears so it can be scanned.

Hey ... Thanks for the tip! I would have went to the movies (I snagged the Regal card) and been like "Uh .. WHY ISN'T IT WORKING!?" lol .
