FRG22D Update today questions

So figured we needed a forum thread for this instead of just commenting on the article on the home page.

My personal question is if i already have flash installed after manually updating to froyo in the first place, will i still get the OTA? im assuming yes because it just makes flash available in the market, but the important part is the security updates.

Thought id ask because i know once i manually updated to froyo, i never got the official OTA pushed to me. i dont know if this is because they somehow check your OS version before it gets pushed?

I'd say that you will get the OTA since the build number is higher.

The build does not include Flash, it just makes it visible in the Market place, so having Flash installed shouldn't affect it one way or another. I would, however, uninstall yout forced Flash and reinstall it from the market place, so you can get future updates and such.

Just finished manually installing the update.zip file and all is well. Flash 10.1 appears in the market as a featured aplication and my purchased (but not installed) apps show up in the Downloads section (they didn't before). I do not appear to have lost any settings and all is well.

Geographic location has nothing to do with when you get an upgrade, it's done via IMEI and is random.
