Second, I did a bunch of side by side shots with my Nexus 5 (notoriously mediocre camera) and the Nexus 5 shots were invariably clearer, literally every single one looked better than the s5. These were taken at the same time in the same light.
So, my question is probably obvious: Are we missing some magical setting or issue that we can fix or is the camera likely broken somehow and should be replaced? I have never owned one of these or even really played with one so I don't know what to expect "normal" performance to be. But having read tons of reviews that indicated the camera is right up there (albeit a bit short of) with the iPhone 6/6+, something seems amiss. The differences between my Nexus shots and her s5 ones are not subtle. It's like night and day better on the Nexus...
