friendstream doesnt load

So I was charging my phone with a cheap replacement charger and long story short, my phone got messed up and I had to reset it. Anyway, I reinstalled everything but one problem remains. The Friendstream widget doesn't load any updates. My phone is sync'ed with Facebook and when I click the arrow at the top right of the widget (the big version) it shows me all the updates, but it just has a problem actually taking those updates and showing them on the widget itself. Any advice? I've tried deleting the widget and putting it back and restarting my phone, but so far nothing.

Check in Accounts and Sync and check your sync settings. Make sure autosync is set and Background Data is checked.

Try uninstaling then reinstalling
