On my note 8, there are so many times where I will have to re-press an area, this is no particular area, to have it register what I am pressing on. I came from a note 4 and it was perfect.
Is this a possible flaw for my device? I have tried a factory reset. Also tried changing resolutions. but no luck. It was purchased brand new in box. Should I try another one?

not using any screen protectors.

Thank you.

Also, these touch screens use capacitive sensing. To be detected, your fingertip cannot be too dry or it will not be conductive, and won't be detected. It's really dry here in the winter. People around here have to moisturize or even wet their fingertip slightly to get really good response from capacitive touch screens. It's not nearly as bad in the summer here.

So the point is this: If your fingertip is too dry, you can have trouble with this type of touch screen.

If its humid where you are, then this isn't likely to be your problem, but I just thought I'd toss that out there.
