Hello Everyone,
I just got my new HTC Evo 4G and I'm excited to finally change over to the Android platform. I come from a long history with Blackberrys ranging from the Pearl to the Storm 1 and 2. What I liked most about Blackberrys were the professional layout of the OS. The email intergration and easy use of calendars and tasks. What I hated the most was the lack of support from 3rd parties. Once I started using more media on my device and using it more for entertainment, I quickly found that the support from companies was almost no exsistant. When I started looking into getting an Android, I found the Evo and was immediately drawn to the high quality display and vast intergration throughout the whole phone.
A little bit about me:
I just turned 26 and work with electronics daily. My occupation is an aviation electronics technician so I'm pretty gadget savvy. I was constantly updating and hacking into my Blackberry OS to get the most out of my phone and I love to read up on the latest and greatest when it comes to cell phones. This is my first Android phone so you may see me in the threads asking some questions but this isn't my first forum to be a member of so I know how to search before asking. I hope to talk to some of you on here.
Dale
