I like COUNTLESS others have just jumped ship from Blackberry (Not good in Crackberry Land!!) to Android to this wonderful Rezound..

I have one major issue.. This thing rarely vibrates and when it does..NOT for Long... During the day Im in meetings for many hours which means..No ringtone...

I had the phone in my hand with email/messages coming in and it didn't vibrate ..There are times when its on my desk and it does (very short!). Coming from a Blackberry that vibrated so hard it bounced on the desk I always heard it..even if I'm in another room. Is this normal ? or a bad phone? Does the phone sense its in my hand and doesn't vibrate? I was told it could sense it was in a bag, etc.
And when the screen is off.. How do you tell you have a missed call/message?!?! Maybe Im blind but that little pin drop light in the right corner could be bigger.. Again Blackberry with the big red light...I though the red line at the top of the phone was a light! I spent soo much time deciding Android vs iOS that when it came to picking a phone.. I decided quick because I caught it on sale on the last day (last few hours)...

is there an App that can help me out?!!?

Thanks

I have an app called Phone Alarm which you can get in the Market now called Google Play. It has alot of options you can configure including vibrate. Its saved me many times letting me know I have messages.

I came from BB, too and still miss some things about it like the bigger notification lights and some of the apps that I've not been able to closely match. But I'm happier with my Rezound overall.

I use "missed call", also found in Google play.

look up Vibe in play store there is a free and paid version you can make your owen vibration on the paid one. i do not knew if it work for text or email it should,i have the free one, its prety cool .:p

Former crackberry user too. Agree that the notification light does not compare to the BB. Not sure what email app you are using, but with K-9, you can set the vibration pattern (5 types) and how many times it repeats (1-10x). You can set it up differently per email account.
