From GS6 to GS6 edge. Difference in battery life?

Has anyone made the switch? It seems that the battery life on the Edge is better than the regular GS6.

Can anyone comment?

The Edge has a slightly larger battery. 2600 mah vs 2550 on the S6.

I know that but I have heard, for whatever reason, that the battery life is better. Far better than the extra 50Mah would suggest.

Could be totally wrong of course.

There is no reason you should see different battery life other than the size difference. Same software, hardware and screen.

I have no clue how anything else could affect battery life differences between the two.

The battery is bigger but your mileage we be different depending how you use your phone and how you set it up

I made the switch and right away noticed a big difference in battery life, in favour of the edge. However, I don't really think that's a regular thing. I think I just got lucky. Same software on both phones. Same issues for the most part. Shouldn't be too much of a difference. I believe, in my particular scenario, it boils down to my regular s6 was a dud and my edge worked the way it should, all things considered. Wouldn't read to far into the edge being significantly better due to the extra 50mAh rating.
