Are you using the extended battery or staying with the stock battery.

My brother keeps telling me to get it. I hate the bulk.

I personally have never felt the need to consider the extended battery as long as the phone still has a charge when I get home at the end of the day I am happy. And 95% of the time that is the case. Or I can charge it the other 5% of the time.

I hate the bulk too.

I had 3rd party battery for my Incredible. It was ok but I don't want to try again. It never gave me issues but I saw others did have problems. And with the TB don't want to really chance it. If there was an OEM that was slender and not a 3rd party that would be great. It is too bad though that the battery devs can't create a slimmer battery that gives more juice for these devices instead of having to use these horrible bulky batteries.

I have stayed with the standard battery because I do not want the bulk of the extended battery. I also consistently get through the entire day now without running out of juice. If I use the phone a lot for websurfing or for playing video or audio, the battery can get pretty low at the end of the day, but I always keep a charger at work and in the car just in case I need to boost it a little. If I am going on a long airline flight or am going to be away from my chargers for a long time for some other reason, I take along an external battery pack to charge the phone.

I have the extended. I don't like the bulk and i also don't have a case but I love the battery life. Every now and then if I know I won't be too far away from a charger I switch to my stock battery for the "slimness".

I went with extended. I actually like the "bulk", since it gives me some corners for a better grip on the phone and the phone fits a lot better in my hands. But I have large hands, so your mileage may vary. I love not having to worry so much about battery, so it would be a compromise I'd be willing to make even if the bulk was undesirable.

That big, beautiful screen takes a serious toll on battery life, that's for sure.

Verizon has a snap on case for the extended battery user Only one color though. A maroon color I think.
Just thought I would share that with you........might check it out.

I was a woman in one of my past lives - so I feel I qualify to give my opinion here.

I hate the bulk of the extended battery too, but a standard battery doesn't last all day for me. So I carry a spare standard battery with me and swap them out in mid to late afternoon every day....I also have a double charger (phone and spare battery) at home and a car charger in my car.

I got one, just wanted to try it. Now I get over 55 hours on weekends using wifi. Working days I get like 20 hours and it is because 4g kills the battery :(

I have both.

I use the standard battery for day-to-day use because I can charge at my desk.

I use the extended when traveling or when I know charging is not an easy option.

I just spent 5 days in Columbus and used my extended the whole time. I never returned to my hotel with less than 40% at the end of the day (16+ hours off charger, lots of navigation use, no car charger).

My day-to-day use is a battery killer because my office is on the fringe of 4G so the phone is constantly trying to lock that signal even though it's not very strong. I'm playing with a Tasker profile to turn off mobile data at my office and then toggle it every 20 minutes or so to pull personal e-mail (a 2X Battery task that is location specific).

If you don't like the bulk, I would recommending giving 2X Battery a try. My son uses it on his Incredible 2 and can get through the day without charging - before 2X Battery he was charging in the afternoon to get through the day.

I live in a 3G area and can be in 4G in a few minutes drive. I don't like how it toggles to decide what it wants so I keep it at CDMA for 3G and it is pretty quick. faster than my loyal Incredible was. So that helps with the battery too.

I may have to get the extended battery. I am in a job search, been unemployed for a long time.
If a certain job happens to open up for me, my phone will be used a lot because there is a work app I will have to use with customers. And the stock battery won't allow me to have a full day if this job comes about.....which I just now found out about. Job fair on it next Monday. here's hoping ! And for the job I would make the switch because the money depends on it LOL:):p
