Found that all photos taken with the front camera have NO photo date and time (EXIF),
whereas those taken with the rear camera can show the photo date and time correctly without any problem. Anyone knows how to solve the problem? Thanks!2018-10-07 00 01 10.png2018-10-07 00 01 26.png2018-10-07 00 01 31.png:-

Until Samsung comes out wth an update to fix it, an exif editor will allow you to add the exif data. Use Feedback (in Settings) to let them know that there's a problem.

Mine shows Date and Time from the front facing camera, in the default gallery, Google Photos and also in an EXIF editor app (Photo EXIF editor).
What's that app you're using to view the info?

i am trying to backup my photos, and found that all my photos taken with the front camera are listed at the beginning of the date. i am curious about the situation, that's why tried to use Adobe Bridge to view the photo info, and then realize that all my photos taken with the front camera have no EXIF date and time.
-----------------------------
update: if i look at the photos' info with the phone's default gallery or google photo, i can also find its date and time. however, since my photos backup application (Synology Moments) look at the EXIF date and time, instead of the file modified date and time, it cannot show the date and time of my photos accurately.
----------------------
in short, my photos taken with my front camera have accurate modified date and time, but NO EXIF date and time.

I just found this thread in search of more information about this problem, which I also experience with my S9.

The problem is not that the date/time is missing, but rather that it has the wrong format.

Photos taken with the rear camera have their date/time information in the correct format ('2019:01:01 16:15:49'), but photo's taken with the front camera have the information in an incorrect format ('2019-01-01 16:16:00').

Note the difference is the dashes opposed to the colons in the date. There should be colons, not dashes. Most software will not recognize the incorrect format and display no date/time information, OR use the file modification time instead of the EXIF data.

Is it possible to report this to Samsung somehow?

Best regards,
Martijn.

Let's hope the problem is solved in one ui.
Otherwise, may consider reporting this to samsung

i have same problem. maybe that there is a problem with 01-01 data (as millennium bug)?
Can you tell me a software to copy exit of file into exif of image? thank you

Photos taken with the rear camera have their date/time information in the correct format ('2019:01:01 16:15:49'), but photo's taken with the front camera have the information in an incorrect format ('2019-01-01 16:16:00').
Actually you have that backwards - dates have dashes, times have colons. 2019:01:01 is the incorrect format.
